A checklist before your first real post

This is a sample post seeded by OGTool so your blog is never empty. Delete it once real posts are live.

Run through this once. Each check takes under a minute.

Five checks

1. Open the blog on your real domain and confirm this post loads there
2. View page source and confirm the canonical URL points at your domain
3. Open /sitemap.xml under the blog path and confirm it lists the sample posts
4. Open /rss.xml under the blog path and confirm it parses
5. Compare the blog's fonts and colors against your homepage

When something fails

The setup prompt's verify step reports which check failed and why. Re-run it after each fix; it is safe to call repeatedly.

Then delete the samples

Once a real post is published, delete the three sample posts. They are regular posts, so the dashboard and the public API can both remove them.
