Gobi Community Guidelines

Last updated: May 31, 2026

Gobi is a simulated-first practice trading app where people learn market mechanics with a virtual balance — no real money, ever. The social side of Gobi only works if it feels safe and supportive, so these guidelines describe what we expect from everyone here. They apply everywhere you can post or send something: profiles, direct messages, community posts and comments, market and news discussion, and shared practice trade cards.

The Community We Want

We want Gobi to be a place where curious, supportive practice-trading learners help each other get better. The best of Gobi looks like:

  • Sharing what you are learning, including the trades that did not work out.
  • Asking questions without fear of being mocked — everyone is practicing.
  • Giving feedback that is honest, specific, and kind.
  • Keeping it clear that this is practice: virtual money, simulated results, learning first.

Zero Tolerance For Objectionable Content And Abuse

Gobi has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive behavior. Do not post, send, or share any of the following:

  • Hate speech, slurs, or content that attacks or demeans people based on who they are.
  • Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of any person or group.
  • Threats, incitement, or glorification of violence or self-harm.
  • Sexual content involving minors or any child sexual abuse material (CSAM) — this is never tolerated and is reported to the appropriate authorities.
  • Sexual, pornographic, or otherwise adult content, and nudity.
  • Illegal activity, or content that promotes or facilitates it.
  • Spam, scams, phishing, malware, or deceptive links.
  • Impersonation of other people, brands, or Gobi staff.
  • Doxxing or sharing someone else’s private or personal information without consent.
  • Real-money solicitation, pump-and-dump schemes, “signal” selling, or financial scams — Gobi is a practice app with virtual money only, and treating it as real trading to deceive others is not allowed.

Keep It Practice-First

Everything on Gobi is simulated. Do not present virtual balances, simulated orders, or practice PnL as real money or real trading in order to mislead, recruit, or pressure other people. Celebrate the learning, not fake gains.

How To Report

If you see something that breaks these guidelines, tell us. You can report content directly in the app:

  • Use the Report action on any post, comment, message, or profile.
  • Give us a little context when prompted so we can review it quickly.

How To Block

You control who can reach you. Block a user from their profile or from a direct message (open their profile via the info button) to stop further contact and hide their content from your experience.

What Happens After A Report

When content or a user is reported, we take it seriously:

  • We review reported content and reported users.
  • Content that violates these guidelines is removed.
  • Users who post objectionable content or behave abusively may be suspended, and repeat or severe offenders may be removed (ejected) from the Service.
  • We aim to act on reports of objectionable content and abusive users quickly — often within 24 hours of a report.

Safety Concerns

For urgent safety concerns, or abuse that needs our direct attention, email support@arcaos.io with details so we can review it. These guidelines work together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
