Open Ask Gobi with useful context

Use the Ask Gobi entry on Home. On an iOS position screen, “Ask Gobi about this position” opens the coach with that position’s context. Starting there makes a question about “this trade” more specific.

For a general question, name the concept and your point of confusion. For a position, name the figure or time period you are trying to reconcile. You do not need to ask for a trading recommendation to get a useful explanation.

Questions that turn a screen into a lesson

• “What is the difference between the amount I put up and my total exposure?”
• “Does this funding number mean I pay or receive, and what interval does it cover?”
• “Why can the mark price differ from the chart’s last price?”
• “Explain the fees and funding on this virtual position separately from the price move.”
• “What does this liquidation estimate tell me, and what can change it?”

These are suggested prompts, not recorded conversations or promises of a particular response. If an answer introduces a new term, ask for a definition and a simple numerical example.

Review any proposed practice trade

The coach can help set up a practice trade for your confirmation. Read the ticket’s market, direction, size, leverage, order type, and cost information yourself. A chat response is not a substitute for the review screen.

Check the answer against the app

AI can make mistakes, and market or account information can change during a conversation. Check the app’s current figures, timestamps, and order status. Ask which assumptions an explanation uses if its arithmetic does not match.

For a stable reference, use the funding lesson or margin lesson. Contact Support for an account or app problem that a conceptual explanation does not resolve.
